About Kimberlea

With over 15 years of professional experience, Kimberlea Miner is well-established as one of Los Angeles' top make up artists, providing her unique talent to top models, celebrities, actors and brides. She has been the personal make up artist for Katie Holmes, as well as for Emmy-Award winning actress Tyne Daly, who she worked with for over four years on the popular CBS television series “Judging Amy”. Kimberlea has done her magic at events such as the Academy Awards and the Emmy Awards. For print, she has been the make up artist for the covers of many magazines, including Life Magazine and Seventeen. She has worked on countless photo shoots for top photographers, as well as publicity shoots for film and television studios.

Because Kimberlea has worked in the film and TV industry for so many years, she knows how to work with clients with all sorts of personalities, ages, skin colors and skin types.

As her clients will attest, one of Kimberlea’s unique qualities is that she creates a calming, peaceful and pampering environment, and exudes a gentle, warm and soothing energy. Her soft touch, unique sense of aesthetic and attention to detail set her apart from others.

Kimberlea was born and raised in Los Angeles. She comes from a family of very creative, artistic people. Her grandfather, Allen Miner, was a noted TV and film director (his directing credits include the classic film “The Old Man And The Sea” as well as TV's “Twilight Zone”; he worked with legends such as Betty Davis and Ernest Hemmingway).

Kimberlea loves photography and has studied the art of photography since the age of 15. Her love of photography has helped her understand how lighting works and she very naturally applies this knowledge to her make up artistry.

Kimberlea graduated from the Joe Blasco Make-Up Center for the TV & film Industry. She has been a professional make up artist for over 15 years.

Kimberlea became a blushing bride herself on April 17th, 2005.
